These are so easy, I figured I’d give you a "two-for-one" deal. These are both terrific with corn chips, tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, and/or fresh bread.

Bonnie’s Cheesy Chili Dip

8 oz. cream cheese
1 can Hormel beanless chili
4 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

In a microwaveable casserole dish or pyrex pie plate, soften cream cheese by heating for 30 seconds on high. Stir in chili. Microwave, covered, on high for 2-3 minutes until heated throughout. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and heat for 30 seconds more, until cheese is melted.

 

Judy’s Cheesy Salsa Dip

Velveeta Cheese
Good salsa (I like Newman’s)

Use approximately equal amounts of Velveeta cheese and salsa. Cut the cheese into cubes, and put into a microwave-safe casserole dish. Stir in the salsa. Microwave, covered, on high for 1 minute. Stir. Then microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until cheese is melted, and the mixture is hot.
